Date: ca. 1900

A pair of pretty little Art Nouveau vases made of a dark coloured pewter. The previous owner used them as candlesticks and they do indeed look wonderful with candles. The surfaces on opposing siders have the same relief décor of a dragonfly, berries and a thistle flower along with its scrolling leaves. I have polished the vases to make their designs stand out better, it might be possible to polish these to a silver colour but I personally preferred to keep them darker. There is a hallmark of a lizard in chainmail frame, but I have not been able to identify it.

Condition: There is a tiny hole in the neck of one of them, but the vase can hold water to below this level.

I will reimburse you if something arrives damaged. I pack my items with great care, but damage during shipment is risk that can occur.
